The Zoning Commission held a public hearing on July 5th to hear public comments on the proposed zoning resolution. After public comment, board members agreed to attach a list of amendments to be added to the resolution by the Allen Township Trustees. The Zoning Commission then approved their zoning book to be sent to the township trustees.
The Zoning Commission answered a question from the audience on noncompliant properties in a proposed business district, then the Commission made final material edits to the proposed zoning resolution and prepared the meeting room for the the zoning commission public hearing on July 5th at 6:30 p.m.
During their regularly scheduled meeting, the Allen Township Trustees took care of monthly administrative duties, went into executive session to discuss ongoing litigation with the township lawyer, and answered questions from the audience on the upcoming zoning commission public hearing on July 5th at 6:30 p.m.
The Zoning Commission reviewed and discussed the information distributed by The E Allen on the proposed zoning resolution. Members of the zoning commission discussed the roles they will fulfill at the upcoming July 5th public hearing and scheduled a placeholder meeting for Wednesday, July 24th.
